Hi, I'm Elaine!
I am a neurodiverse- and queer-affirming therapist that specializes in engaging where these things
intersect (and where they don't). In a previous life, I earned a PhD in philosophy, specializing in
queer and trans theory. I pivoted to focus this knowledge towards more directly supporting
LGBTQIA2S+ communities through
mental health support.

How can I help you?
I offer in-person sessions at my office in Ann Arbor, and online for clients in Michigan. Some of my
specialties include:
- Assessing for and supporting ADHD and/or Autism
- Gender-affirming care (including letter-writing)
- EMDR re-processing for trauma
- Unlearning ableist, neuro-normative, heteronormative, transphobic, and other oppressive
narratives
- Balancing academic demands (perfectionism, job market stress, work/life balance)
